THE-2503 — Stage Costumes and Make-Up
THE 2503 introduces the foundations of stage costumes and stage make-up techniques and their technical application in performing arts and entertainment technology. Explorations in the tools and apparatus for stage costumes and make-up occur highlighting specialty make-up, prosthetics wigs and hairstyling, draping, stitching, and fabrics. Students examine the design process of both stage costumes and stage make-up for their use in performance. This course consists of a lecture component (2 hours each week) and a laboratory session (2 hours each week). Course
