BE 45 — Bridge to Coll Comp Cont Stdt
This three-week workshop provides continuing students who have a light developmental need in English an opportunity to build key academic English and college success skills as an alternative to taking (or retaking) the English corequisite. The workshop includes opportunities to engage with peer mentors, tutors, and advisors. Students who attend all sessions will have the opportunity to earn the English Proficiency Milestone through demonstration of academic readiness in multiple reading and writing assignments, quizzes and an exam, as well as short presentations and group work. Registration for the workshop must be completed by an approved advisor, and enrolled students must also be registered for English 101 in the following term. Students may only enroll in this Bridge course once. Students who enrolled in the Bridge to College Composition for New Students are not eligible. Students may only enroll in this Bridge course once.
