CH 901 — Coop Ed Chem Instrum Analysis

Students will be selected by the coordinator of the Cooperative Education program on the basis of their academic background and the availability of positions. Students should apply for this course in the semester preceding the one in which they plan to take it so that proper arrangements can be made. These courses can be used either as free electives in all curricula, or as part of the concentrationin the A.S. in Liberal Arts and Science (Mathematics and Science ) degree program.These courses provide an opportunity for a student to learn modern instrumental techniques, and to gain practical experience working in a professionalchemistry laboratory. Students will meet with the coordinator at least once a month to discuss their work. An evaluation will be submitted by the supervisor in the laboratory to which the student has been assigned. A final grade of Pass or Fail willbe awarded by the Cooperative Education Coordinator.
