ET 721 — Software Development Practicum

Students engage in collaborative project-based software development as a capstone computer programming experience. This course incorporates experiential learning via self-directed research and computer programming while exploring the modern process, models, and methodologies of team-based software development. Current industry tools for team communication, collaboration and software development will be utilized as teams iteratively advance and develop product. Students assume various roles within their development team where they will demonstrate personal contributions via scheduled classroom presentations discussing project state, planning and advancement. Course policies and presentation are aligned with the workplace to cultivate an employment-oriented experience.
