MA 49 — Bridge to Coll Math New Stdnt
This three-week workshop provides new students who have a light developmental need in Math an opportunity to build key algebraic and college success skills before taking Math 114 or Math 119. The workshop includes an integrated exploration of degree programs and career paths, with opportunities to engage with peer mentors, faculty, and advisors. Students who attend all sessions will have the opportunity to earn the Math Proficiency Milestone through demonstration of academic readiness in multiple class assignments, in-class group work, homework assignments, quizzes, and exams. Registration for the workshop must be completed by an approved advisor, and enrolled students must also be registered for Math 114 or Math 119 in the following term. Students may only enroll in this Bridge course once.
