NU 204 — Nursing and Societal Forces
This course will explore health care issues and concerns through the integration of knowledge from nursing, social, and political sciences. The legal, political, and ethical parameters of nursing will be examined within the framework of the wellness/ illness continuum. Strategies for the resolution of societal issues and concerns, which impact nursing and the health care delivery system, will be analyzed. This is a Writing Intensive course. Typically Offered Winter and Summer.
