ARTS 216 - Ceramics II ARTS 216 - Ceramics II (2,2) 3 Credits Ceramics II introduces students to the basic theory and practice involved in making forms on the potter’s wheel. Students will learn basic wheel thrown forms that can be used in functional pottery and ceramic sculpture. Students will also learn glaze and firing techniques using glazes for the gas kiln. Students will purchase vouchers for clay through the Finance Department, and will be responsible for purchasing other supplies, such as a ceramics tool kit and glaze brushes, on their own.
