Emphasis is placed on the role of structure, functional groups, stereochemistry, reaction mechanisms, spectroscopy, and synthetic methods. Topics include the chemistry of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, and alkyl halides, as well as nucleophilic substitution, elimination, and addition reaction mechanisms. Course link
