COMM 110 - Interpersonal Communication COMM 110 - Interpersonal Communication (3,0) 3 Credits General Education Course: Communication This course introduces students to the principles and practices of interpersonal communication in everyday life. Students will explore how individuals create meaning, build relationships, manage conflict, and navigate diverse social and cultural contexts. Topics include perception, communication and self, bias, verbal and nonverbal communication, listening, emotions, communication climate, conflict, relationships in face-to-face and mediated contexts, the dark side of communication, and workplace communication. Emphasis is placed on developing communication competence, increasing self-awareness, and applying effective strategies to enhance the quality of interpersonal interactions. Students who complete this course will have enhanced skills and knowledge of interpersonal dynamics in personal and professional relationships. Course link
