ECHD 184 - Teaching Language Arts to Young Children ECHD 184 - Teaching Language Arts to Young Children (3,0) 3 Credits This course explores the development of language and ways in which parents and teachers can stimulate and encourage language development. Emphasis is placed on the young child’s expressions and the creation and use of materials and activities to stimulate listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in young children. This course addresses language arts issues from birth through age 10. This course is not intended for transfer. in the fall semester. Course link
