HLTH 100 - Foundations of Health Science HLTH 100 - Foundations of Health Science (1,1) 1 Credit Foundations of Health Science is a foundational course that provides an overview of the healthcare industry, its systems, and a wide range of related careers. Students will learn the roles of various professions within the health sciences field, examining the knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as the educational, certification, and continuing education requirements. Students will learn the skills and dispositions needed to be successful in the field of health sciences, strategies for effective communication and organization, as well as metacognitive skills for academic success.
