HMNS 201 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment HMNS 201 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment (3,0) 3 Credits The course will examine individual, group, organizational and societal theories of human development and behavior across the lifespan. Students will use the theoretical paradigms presented to examine individual and social issues arising in social work practice to identify potential interventions and remedies to improve individual and societal circumstances. Fifteen hours of service learning are required as the context for applyig classroom learning to real life situations, culminating with a bio-psycho-social assessment and plan of intervention in the form of a case study assignment.
