It is also highly recommended for transfer students majoring in the physical sciences. Topics include oscillations and waves, sound and electromagnetic waves, geometric and physical optics, interference and diffraction, fluids, heat and temperature, kinetic theory of gasses, laws of thermodynamics, heat engines, and entropy.
