EVALUATION IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT This course provides the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate an integrated curriculum that focuses on children’s needs and interests and takes into account culturally valued content and children’s home experiences. Content will cover how to create, evaluate and select developmentally appropriate materials, equipment and environments that support children’s learning. The course will also focus on the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that address the importance of a multicultural appr oach to early childhood education. The course combines classroom instruction, hands -on activities and observations of children in group care. (Spring)
