CJ 2043 — REPORT WRITING
Prerequisite: ENGL 1113 English comp I; CJ 2343 criminal investigation This course focuses on the skills necessary for job-related and academic writing skills in law enforcement and criminal justice. Emphasis is placed upon writing narrative reports for incidents and fatality and non-fatality traffic accidents, search warrant affidavits and returns, memos, letters, short reports, proposals, resumes and research papers. Writing assignments will be based upon work-related scenarios relevant to law enforcement. (Spring)
