CJ 2343 — CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION

Prerequisites: CJ 2313 Criminal Law or CJ 2443 Criminal Law and Procedures. This course is an examination of investigative fundamentals and principles which apply to crime scene processing, case building and preparation and case presentation in court. Emphasis is given to case investigation models, developing leads, theory buildin g, conceptual approaches to the investigative mandate and information processing and reporting. (Spring)
