COR 2720 — — Special Needs Clients
Discusses two components, the first half pertaining to the plight of crime victims. A brief history of crime victims will be discussed and then a focus on victims of violent crime including sexual assault, child abuse, spousal abuse, bullying, murder, and robbery. Special emphasis will be on how data is collected. The second component will focus on special offenders including sex offenders and other offenders with high recidivism rates. This course will include an e-portfolio assignment. Offered: Fall.
