PSY 2530 — — Psychology of Personality

Introduces students to the psychological study of personality. Emphasis is placed on theoretical and scientific explanations for individuals' characteristic patterns of perception, thought, emotion and behavior and the different ways in which these theories are validated. The course examines both historical and modern-day approaches to the study of personality including biological, psychoanalytic, cognitive, behavioral, humanistic, social, and developmental theories.
