DMHT 120 — Diesel Fuel and Emissions

is designed to provide the student with an in-depth view of electronic and mechanical fuel systems, fuel delivery systems, and emission control as it relates to the diesel medium/heavy truck industry. Topics covered include exhaust emission control, exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR), converters, fuel filters, conditioners, and diesel exhaust fluid systems. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 4.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 6.0).
