HVAC 230 — Motors and Controls

allows students to analyze, set up, and troubleshoot single and poly-phase motor starting systems, damper actuators, and economizers. Emphasis is on the service and repair of residential and light commercial HVACR systems including open and hermetic motors, rooftops, and split systems. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 2.0).
