This course is a study of major financial decisions facing the typical American household. This course introduces students to credit, banking, personal budgeting and planning, risk management, investing, and retirement and estate planning. Civic responsibility, personal ethics, and the socio-political consequences of personal actions are emphasized as is our individual role in creating the society we want to live in.
