HIMC 1100 — Fundamentals of Health Information
This course introduces the student to basic Health Information Management (HIM) concepts and practices. Students will learn about the various functions and roles in HIM and have an opportunity to practice the use of techniques to ensure the confidentiality, completeness, and integrity of the patient health record.
