HIMC 2002 — ICD-10-CM Coding

This course introduces students to the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) classification system. Students practice using rules, conventions, and guidelines to accurately assign ICD-10-CM codes using deidentified patient health records. Coding resources and references will be used to code cases from all chapters of ICD-10-CM, using both manual and computerized coding methods.
