HLTH 1130 — Medical Terminology
Using a body-systems approach, students will learn how to break down and build medical terms using roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Students will learn to apply medical vocabulary in clinical contexts and correctly interpret common medical abbreviations and symbols used in today's healthcare setting.
