PHIL 1020 — Introduction to Ethics

In this course, students will learn about traditional and contemporary moral theories, which are frameworks for ethical thinking and action, and moral issues. Students will learn to apply theories to everyday moral dilemmas and real-life case studies in addition to considering moral issues such as treatment of non-human entities, end-of-life decisions, and current social problems.
