PHIL 1100 — Logic and Critical Thinking

This course is an introduction to modern methods of logical analysis and critical thinking, including the analysis of logical fallacies, elements of contemporary symbolic logic, and basic concepts of deductive and inductive reasoning. Students will apply the tools of logic and critical thinking to current trends in information flow such as fake news, artificial-intelligence, and arguments and events encountered in daily life.
