PRNU 2200 — Nursing Care of Women/Newborns/Children
This course provides an integrative approach to caring for women, newborns, and children. Students will apply the nursing process within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), using evidence-based clinical judgment to deliver holistic, culturally sensitive care. They will also collaborate with the inter-professional team to address complications and improve client outcomes for women, newborns, and children.
