Awareness and appreciation of the cultural styles and values of different groups. Overview of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) laws, Title I and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Arizona state government policy regarding non-discrimination and employment law. Legal criteria for sexual harassment and appropriate responses to sexually harassing behaviors. Workplace violence awareness, prevention, and reporting procedures. Prerequisites: None.
