Principles of IT II focuses on supporting operating systems, strengthening system security, and troubleshooting software related issues. Students learn how to install and maintain Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile operating systems; apply essential security practices; and diagnose common OS, application, and performance problems. The course also covers key operational procedures, including backup methods, documentation, safe work practices, and effective communication in technical support roles. Core 2 prepares students to handle day-to-day IT support tasks and successfully complete the second part of the A+ certification exam.
