ART 15900 — Drawing I
An introduction to basic drawing skills. Through a series of projects, lecture, demonstrations, and individual and group critiques, students will investigate the process of drawing as a way to see the world and discover ways to convey ideas. Students learn effective use of line, shape, form, light and dark, texture, space and composition. Students will work from the nude human figure as a source of observation and interpretation. Museum and/or gallery visits are recommended for this course. No previous art experience is necessary.
