ART 16500 — 3D Design
Students will focus on design theory as it relates to the three-dimensional world. The course explores design as a process in structuring form in both illusory and real space, using simple materials in a series of hands-on exercises. Assignments address abstract concepts, such as communicating through design elements and principles, and practical issues including craftsmanship, material properties and structural integrity. No previous art experience is necessary.
