ART 17800 — Sculpture I
An introduction to the basic elements, materials, and techniques of sculpture through learning how to model clay, build assemblage, and carve plaster. Students will learn how to utilize the basic elements of three-dimensional form: scale, mass, color, movement, and use of space and shape in a sculptural manner. The nude model may be used. No previous art experience is necessary.
