AUT 20500 — Engine Performance I

A study of the mechanical engine condition, computerized fuel control and ignition controls. Topics include air intake and exhaust, ignition system, multi-port fuel injection and gasoline direct injection. Students will diagnose drivability problems related to the above systems. Automotive Engine Performance I & II help prepare students to take the ASE engine performance examination.

Prerequisites: AUT 10600, AUT 10800
