The objective of this course is to explore and better understand the historical drug problem that exists in America and throughout the world. Topics include drug-law penalties, drugs and law enforcement, drugs and correctional investigations. Specific types of drugs explored include; Opioids, Cocaine and Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Hallucinogens and Depressants. The course will also focus on prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
