ENG 24300 — Screenwriting

The heart of this course in screenwriting is its focus on story sessions in which student writers celebrate and discuss each other's script ideas and progressive drafts. The term concludes with a public reading and/or performance of each 25-page screenplay. Such elements as backstory, plot lines, characters, conflicts, structure, exposition, dialogue, tension, and scene sequence are explored in depth.
