MAT 10810 — Math for Automotive Technology

A solid foundation in the mathematics skills that are required for success in the automotive technology field. Topics include ratios, graph and chart interpretation, gauges, geometry, invoices, unit conversion, electrical circuits and precision measurement. Automotive applications include gear ratio, compression ratio, Vernier caliper, micrometer, torque, alignment specifications, labor and parts cost lookup, tire pressure and antifreeze gauges, series and parallel electrical circuits, duty cycle, digital multimeter and current clamp.
