MAT 12500 — Statistics

Statistics acquaints students with collection and analysis of quantitative data through measures of central tendency, measure of variation and probability and the role of statistics in today's world. It is also a course where a student learns procedures of analysis of data for use in making decisions. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, correlation and regression.

Prerequisites: MAT 10010, MAT 10110
