MAT 20900 — Discrete Mathematics

An introduction to the study of mathematical structures that are fundamentally discrete rather than continuous. Topics considered include methods of proof, mathematical induction, logic, sets,modeling computation, functions, number theory, counting, trees and graph theory. This course is intended for students majoring in mathematics and computer science.
