NUR 22400 — Maternal Child Health

3.5 credits · 3.5 hours

The Nursing Process is applied to care for childbearing and pediatric patients. Normal physiological, psychological and social changes are considered, as well as complications related to deviations from the norm utilizing elements of the 7 Basic Human Needs. Clinical experiences are provided in both the maternity and pediatric settings in the community and in the Nursing Skills/Simulation Laboratory.

Prerequisites: NUR 14400, NUR 14600, ENG 10200, BIO 11100
