OCC 20400 — Principles of Occupational Therapy: Adult Rehabilitation Practice

Focus on the occupational therapy process and interventions commonly used in the rehabilitation of adults with a variety of conditions. Students are required to synthesize information learned in previous courses and to begin to utilize clinical reasoning to design and implement client centered OT interventions . Safety procedures, documentation of OT services and reimbursement for services are also addressed. This course includes a minimum of a 2 visit Level 1 Fieldwork experience when students integrate and apply course concepts.
