THR 21100 — Singing for Musical Theatre

Examine the relationship between singing and speaking for musical theatre. Students will focuses on techniques, breath, control, resonance (vowels), articulation (consonants), exploration and pitch, range, tone work through vocalization, and preparation of solo songs. Development and analysis of individual techniques for audition and performance are emphasized.
