THR 25600 — Theatrical Stage Combat: Broadsword & Shield
To create the illusion of violence, the actor must combine specific techniques with timing and controlled movement. It is the objective of this class to develop Broadsword & Shield skills that will enable the student to create the illusion of reality through theatrically staged violence, that will look convincing and be safe, while telling a story on stage. Course culminates in a Society of American Fight Directors adjudicated Skills Proficiency Test.
