This course examines historical and contemporary ethical and legal issues related to the human services profession. Students will explore legal rules (laws), ethical codes (guides), and ethical decision-making models (contexts) for various human services settings. Distinctions will be made between professional responsibilities and human service professionals’ personal values and needs.
