HSR-107 — Ethical and Legal Issues in Human Services
This course examines historical and contemporary ethical and legal issues related to the human services profession. Students will explore legal rules (laws), ethical codes (guides), and ethical decision-making models (contexts) for various human services settings. Distinctions will be made between professional responsibilities and human service professionalsâ personal values and needs.
