In recent years, several national green building rating systems have emerged dominantly in the market. These will be covered in general but there are also a myriad of local and federal programs related to creating energy efficient buildings referenced by these new rating systems. In order to help deliver a project cost effectively, it is imperative to know these programs and how they work to be a resource to potential clients and bring added value to the table.
