CEH-901 — Subcode Official
This course has been designed to meet the States educational program requirements to become licensed as a New Jersey Subcode Official (NJAC 5:23-5.20(m)). This course provides the State- required 45 hours of classroom instruction and deals with the duties and responsibilities of the subcode officials responsibilities, the methods of code enforcement and related legislation. Topics: Legal aspects of code enforcement and related legislation. Prerequisite: Possession of a license as an inspector of the same type and specialty as the subcode official being applied for. Required Text: The State provides the Subcode Official Handout, and it requires the student to have the Uniform Construction Code Regulations (NJAC 5:23)
