CFA-155 — Mixed Media (ages 12-15)
Students will create 2D compositions and 3D objects through the exploration a variety of artistic materials to combine, layer and experiment with using traditional and non-traditional techniques. Students can expect to gain a better understanding of traditional and non-traditional techniques as well as the histories of art and what it means to be a young artist today. They will use new materials and everyday objects to create interesting pieces while learning how to interact with others and talk about their work. Each class students will be introduced to artists and works that coincide with the projects
