CFA-414 — Fashion Fanric Summer Workshop
Get to know and design fabrics! Learn how to choose a fabric that makes a good design morebrilliant! This workshop will include discussions about fabrics, hands- on experimentation with fabric embellishments and design techniques, and the creation of a study swatch book of traditional fabric structures, prints, and additions. Understand textiles: the fashion designers most powerful tool. No sewing ability requiredintroductory sewing skills will be taught. 25.00 materials fee to cover some fabrics and some supplies; note that students are responsible for general sewing supplies. Ask for a supply list upon registration for the course. Please bring a lunch the first day. Course will include a trip to the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphiaadmission, $2.00.
