HIT-106 — Medical Terminology
This course is the study of medical terminology, the language of medicine, focusing on prefixes, suffixes, word roots and their combining forms by review of each body system and specialty area. It also emphasizes word construction, spelling, usage, comprehension and pronunciation. In addition, students gain information regarding anatomy and physiology, symptomatology, pathology and abbreviations. This course utilizes a publisher based online learning system and computer access is required for BOTH in class and distance learning courses. 3/0/0
