HUS-100 — Introduction to Human Services
This course introduces students in the behavioral and social sciences and related curricula to skills and activities and their uses in helping others. An overview of interventions and helping strategies with attention to practitioner skills and knowledge is provided. The fields of human services, social work, counseling and case management are explored. This course emphasizes professional boundaries and the legal and ethical standards of the human services profession. 3/0/0
