MCR-111 — Canc Reg Disease Coding & Stag
This course will define cancer and provide an overview of its natural disease course. It will differentiate between benign and malignant tumors and discuss the main characteristics of cancer. The ICD-O-3 coding system will be introduced as well as instruction and practice in the usage of the AJCC, Summary Staging and Collaborative Staging manuals. This course will also provide guidance on coding diagnosis, sequencing and evaluating the extent of the disease. 3/0/0
